11.10.1974 First Korean Baptist Church held their first worship service with the help of the Southern Baptist Convention. This Service was lead by Pastor Hyun Chil Kim.

11.9.1975 The church bought the current location's church building.

11.9.1980 Completion of a new sanctuary

8.27.1983 Reverend Daniel Dong Won Lee was inaugurated as the 2nd senior pastor

5.12.1991 Completion of 50,000sq. ft. gymnasium and mission education center

1.1.1992 Reverend Dennis Man Poong Kim was inaugurated as the 3rd senior pastor

11.7.1993 Senior Pastor Daniel Dong Won Lee and Reverend Dennis Man Poong Kim were installed as co-senior pastors

1.1.1994 First Korean Baptist Church changed their name to Global Mission Church of Greater Washington.

11.12.2017 Reverend Kwang Lim was inaugurated as the 4th lead pastor
